The largest suite at Hidden Lodge Queenstown is absolutely luxurious! The separated bedroom and lounge area give you all the space you need to relax and unwind. It feels like your very own private retreat.
Personally, I found the communal areas at the lodge to be a bit crowded at times. But hey, it's just my opinion, some people might enjoy the lively atmosphere.

This cozy and homely accommodation offers a breathtaking view of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains. Guests can enjoy antipasto in the evening and a delicious made-to-order breakfast each morning. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to cater to guests' needs. The rooms are top-notch, with sublime views, and there is a wood-fueled vintage spa available for relaxation. The lodge also provides off-street parking, a gym, and a communal lounge area with a fireplace for a cozy evening.
Some guests may prefer more privacy as the communal areas can be quite social.

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the views from the property were amazing. the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful with local recommendations.
Parking at the lodge was a bit tight and challenging, especially when trying to navigate in the dark. the lighting in the bedrooms could have been better, as it didn't do justice to the beautiful space.

I always stay at the lodge. No regrets. Staff recommended a taxi. Perfect for me. Wi-Fi, parking, AC, TV, adults only. No pets, smoking. Coming back for New Year.

We got incredible value for our money at Hidden Lodge. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with jaw-dropping views from the balcony. The location was perfect - just outside of town, giving us privacy and tranquility, yet still close enough to easily access the main area. The staff treated us like family, providing us with all the local knowledge we needed and going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
The breakfast items could have been more varied.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hidden Lodge! The property exceeded all expectations with its stunning settings, beautiful rooms, and breathtaking views. The staff members, especially Lisa, Chris, and the lovely British accented girl, were incredibly hospitable. The breakfasts were delicious, including the amazing vegan pancakes. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch. I can't wait to return to this luxurious and home-like retreat.
Can recommend this hotel.
